Our little soccer babies...

Aiden started Lil' Kickers today. It is a soccer program for toddler - preschoolers at the indoor arena and of course Mom and Dad are in "class" with him (in fact today all 4 of us were with him). We had so much fun. We played with balloons, did and obstacle course, built cone towers and Aiden kicked them down with a soccer ball and we played with the giant parachute. We were so proud because Aiden did a really good job of listening to the instructor and following directions. He also was so good about sharing with the other kids. After we were done all the kids got stamps on their hands and Aiden was SO proud of his stamp...it was really cute. After Aiden's class Emma had her first indoor soccer game of the season and she played AWESOME!!! She had 3 goals and 2 assists...what a little stud!

Aiden was excited to be dressed in soccer gear like his big sissy!!!

Yes We Can!!!

Yes we can!!! I am still trying to absorb the enormity of the election results and I think it is so important that I can tell Aiden that he was part of this historic moment. Not only did he put up with CNN being on the television nonstop for the last week, but he also came with me to drop off our ballots. That being said it should be no surprise to me that on election day as we watched with anticipation Aiden busted out with, "Go Obama"!!! He also pointed at the TV when Obama was speaking and said, "Barack Obama". We sat together with family on Tuesday night cheering and shedding many tears as they announced the historic news. As I listened to Obama's speech it hit me...this is really happening...America actually got it right!!! I am so proud of our Country right now, and it gives me so much hope for the future of our great nation. I know that President Obama will continue to inspire hope as he leads us down this long road to recovery. Please join me in praying for him and his family as he takes on the enormous task. At last, Change Has Come!!!

29 weeks pregnant

This pregnancy has gone by so much faster than my first (probably because I am busy chasing Aiden around). I was so good about taking pictures of my growing belly with Aiden, but these are the first belly pics we have taken this time around. After seeing these I have vowed to be better about it for the last 11 weeks of my pregnancy. I want our sweet baby girl to know that I am just as excited for her arrival as I was for her brothers. In fact, if it is possible I think I am more excited this time...WHAT!!! Well, as every mom knows, no matter how much you think you know what it will be like (and the absolute perfect love between mom and child), there is no way to know until you actually experience it. This time...I already know! Being Aiden's mom is the most amazing, rewarding, fulfilling experience ever and everyday that I am so thankful to have the job. Now, I have been entrusted with the life of this beautiful baby girl growing inside me...I truly can't believe I am so blessed.
However, this time I am also now more aware of how quickly time flies. It seems like just yesterday I was counting the days until I got to hold Aiden for the first time and now he is going potty on the big boy potty chair (2 days in a row...little stud) and spending the night for the first time away from home (with Grammy and Poppy). So although I am so excited to hold my daughter for the first time, I am not really in a rush to move this pregnancy along any faster. I love the feeling of having her safely in my belly and I am trying to treasure every moment of this pregnancy....every kick, every hiccup, and every little roll.

Catch Up Part 7 - Emma's Actual Birthday

Since Emma had already had 2 parties before the official day, we celebrated with just the 5 of us on her actual birthday. I can't believe she is already 9 years old...unbelievable! She is such an amazing little girl, and she brings us so much joy. Happy 9th Birthday, sweet Emma girl!

Catch Up Part 6 - Pumpkin Carving

Aiden was totally intrigued with the whole process

Catch Up Part 4 - Emma's Famous Lasagna

We got Emma a kids cookbook for her bday last year. We have tried a few of the recipes, but our favorite is the lasagna. It really is good, and Cam loves it. Emma even has a secret ingredient that she puts in just for her daddy...too cute!

Catch Up Part 3 - The Next David Beckham

Grammy and Poppy got Aiden this adorable Irish National Team Soccer Uniform while they were in Ireland. It is still a little big, but he thinks he is pretty cool in it. They got Emma and Cameron matching Jerseys.
