Our 2nd Anniversary

Cameron and I celebrated our 2nd Anniversary this weekend. We decided to go to Bonneville Hot Springs Resort, but we weren't ready to leave the baby overnight. My parents offered to come along to watch the kids while Cam and I had a relaxing getaway weekend. Well, things didn't really go as planned...Emma and Aiden both got sick (especially Aiden...I took him to the see the Doc this morning and it is just a bad cold). Poor baby was just not himself and he didn't want to leave mommy for more than a few minutes at a time. This being the case, we just decided to all hang out together (Katie was snowboarding with friends and we missed having her with us)! It actually worked out very well, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The hot springs water felt great, and the snow was beautiful. When Aiden is feeling better Cam and I will go out to dinner by ourselves to celebrate our anniversary.

If you look closely you can see Cam and Emma in the hot tub. Emma really enjoyed being in the outdoor hot tub while it snowed.

I bet even Picasso ate his crayons when he was little...

Today was our first day having Keoni come play with us in the afternoons. He is such a sweet boy and Aiden loved following him around. When Keoni painted I decided to let Aiden use his new crayons. He did enjoy the coloring, but he liked eating the crayons best of all...

A visit with Sandi

My mom and her friend Sandi stopped by for a visit today. Aiden was ready for his nap, but he still gave Sandi and good snuggle. He knows a baby lover when he sees one :)

All Hail Prince Aiden

I tied Aiden's blankie around his shoulders this morning. I would make a trumpet noise then say, "All hail, Prince Aiden". He thought it was so funny. He walked around his room wearing his cape for about 20 minutes...it was so cute!

Sunday is Always Family Day

Sunday is always Family Day for us. We have no work and no soccer so we can always do whatever we feel like. This Sunday, we felt like snow. Since Aiden slept through our last attempt to let him experience it for the first time we decided to try again. It was a little harder to find this time, but eventually we found enough to at least make a few snowballs. We found the snow up past Dougan Falls, and on the way back we stopped by the falls. Aiden loved touching the cold snow, but liked the handwarmer we let him hold afterwards better :). He was also mesmerized by the waterfall. We came home, got in our cozyiest clothes and spent the rest of the day watching football and being lazy. We ended the day by watching KK and Aiden splash around in the tub together...it was a perfect Sunday!
