Of course, our sweet baby boy has been healthy for the first 9 1/2 months of his life. However, on his first major holiday...he is sick. That's right, Aiden is sick for the first time. You can't tell from the pictures because he is such a tough little guy, but he has a cough, a fever, and was throwing up....breaking mama's heart. Cam, Emma, and KK went on to Cam's family Thanksgiving while Aiden and I had some cuddle time. By late afternoon he was feeling a little better so we met Cam and the girls over at Grammy and Poppy's house. Aiden slept while the rest of us ate way to much of my mom's fabulous food...man, that woman can cook.
It wasn't the "first" Thanksgiving that I had imagined, however having Aiden here made it better than all of the ones before it. I have so much to be thankful for...I am truly blessed!

Our little genius...
The other day I was expressing to Aiden that I couldn't believe he was going to be a big 1 year old in just a few months. As I was talking to him I was holding up 1 finger. He sort of looked at my finger, looked down at his hand then held up his finger. He got the biggest smile on his face. Now when we ask Aiden how old he is going to be on his birthday he holds up his finger....my son is a genius :)

Aiden's first bowl of Pasta (Video)
Aiden was eating his first bowl of pasta, so of course I had to document the moment. He LOVED it and I loved watching him. I was also lucky enough to catch a wave "bye bye" on camera too.
