So Sweet...
Emma is such an amazing big sister. She is so sweet and loving to Aiden and Bella and truly enjoys spending time with both of them. I love to watch Aiden's whole world light up when she walks in to the room and one of my favorite things to do is sit outside the bathroom when they are taking a bath together and listen to him laugh hysterically and squeal with delight. She is also so patient with him and when he shows his true "two year old side" she just very sweetly says, "uh oh, Brother...you are not supposed to do that". He is so lucky to have her. Now that Bella is here it is so amazing to watch her start to form the same bonds with her. Em is always talking to Bells, telling her how sweet and pretty she is and how much she loves her. She is also constantly holding her so gently and whispering in her ear (I would love to know what she says, but totally appreciate that it is just between sisters). Tonight I pulled out the camera just in time to catch one of their moments together...I couldn't resist since they were both in their pink fuzzy footy jammies...too cute! I love you my sweet Emma girl and I am so thankful that Aiden and Bella have you as a big sissy!

Look how big I am getting
As most of you know I have been taking pictures of Aiden next to the big brown bear (that my brother got for him) since he was born. It is so fun to look back and see how big he has gotten compared to the bear. I was going to do the same with Bella and the bear, but then decided that her pictures should be next to something different. I decided to use the sweet pink Giraffe the she got from my sister (thanks, sis). So I got kind of a late start, but her is the first in the series :) Isn't she a beauty!!!

Lookin' Good...thanks Auntie Chrissy
Aiden got his haircut by Auntie Chrissy this week and he looks great!!!

Trying to be better about taking a posting pictures
I am really going to try hard to be better at taking and posting pictures. The last few weeks I have been horrible about it (and my family reminds me on a regular basis). Now that I feel like I am getting the hang of having 2 wee ones in the house I will make more of an effort. They are both growing and changing so quickly and I don't want to forget any of this and I know I will if I don't have photos to look back on because I am totally sleep deprived :) So, here are a few photos of Miss Bella Roo today lookin' sweet as ever. Big brother was a little camera shy today and every time I tried to snap a pic of him he said, "oh no mommy, not yet" Since he is normally so tolerant of having the camera in his face any time he does anything cute I figured I would give him a break today.

Playing together
Aiden is totally fascinated with Bella's toys and has spent quite a long time over the last few days playing with rattles (of course he calls them maracas). I pulled out this play mat yesterday and he had so much fun laying beside Bella telling her what the different animals were. The funniest part was whenever her little hand would touch him he would say, "excuse me Bella, dat is your side over dere"...like I said he is still a little unsure of her :)

5 weeks
Our sweet Bella girl is 5 weeks old already...impossible! She is such a good baby and a very happy girl. About a week and a half ago she melted our hearts with her first official smile (not gas)...man do I love that toothless grin :) She smiles often and is becoming quite vocal. I am amazed at how quickly she is learning and growing. I love to watch her learning how to use and gain control of her body...I had forgotten how much fun it is to witness. Aiden is still adjusting and I am so proud of how well he is at sharing his world with this new little person. Although I still think he is a little unsure of what to think of her...he is very sweet to her and very protective of her. He loves to sing "twinkle twinkle" to her and when she cries he says, "don't cry baby Bella, brother is here"...talk about being a proud mommy!!! He also gets very upset with me if she cries and I don't run to her immediately. The big sisters are doing a fabulous job of making sure that Aiden gets his fill of their attention and also love to snuggle their baby sis! As I knew he would be, Cam is totally in love with his newest daughter and she smiles SO big when he talks to her. He and Aiden are also enjoying some extra one on one time together and Aiden is loving their "guy time"! As for me, I am totally exhausted and loving every minute of it!!!
