Visiting Grammy and Poppy

When the girls give Grammy and Poppy this face...
they get to do this, EARLY....

Okay, I made that face EVERY year and didn't get to open presents early...what the heck!

Mommy's Shower Cap

My sis got me this super fun shower cap last year. I love it because, as any mom knows, washing your hair every day is not possible. Aiden was snooping around the bathroom this morning while I was getting ready and he found it. He LOVES it! He had fun wearing it, but mostly he liked using it as a basket :)....I love my boy!
BTW...the "I Dig Mom" onsie is from my sis as well....thanks, K!

Our baby boy is 10 months old today!

My original plan was to write something very profound (and probably sappy) about my sweet boy being 10 months old. However, my big 10 month old decided to party last night from 1am - 4am, so I am exhausted. Instead, I will just say this to him....

My sweet boy,

You are absolutely delightful and I fall deeper in love with you every day. I feel extremely lucky that you picked me to be your mommy. I love how brilliantly happy you are and I am so very proud of you. You are, without a doubt, the reason I was put on this earth. Thank you for all the joy you bring me.

Love, Mommy

PS A full nights sleep would be a great way to repay me for the 11 hours of labor...just a thought :)

Getting in the Spirit

Cam and I decided that we are going to take the kids on at least one Christmas outing each weekend until Christmas. Here are a few pictures from our trip to the Christmas Bazaar. We also went to see the lights at PIR, but didn't take any pictures there. This was a huge teddy bear that we saw. Aiden loved it, but I am sure the guy was pretty irritated that I was just taking pictures of my kids on the bear instead of buying it :)

We bought this fake snow stuff that is pretty cool. We let the kids play in it (it's non-toxic, of course) and Aiden had a ball squishing it in his hands and throwing it everywhere. As usual, I had a ball watching him.

Apparently it DOES NOT taste good...
all better!
