One of my closest friends had a son in October. It was so fun to be pregnant together and we are so excited that we have children that are close in age. Of course, our big joke is that they will be boyfriend/girlfriend when they grow up...so here is the first picture of the cute couple :)

My friend Sarah and her son Keiren came over for a play date last week. Keiren is such a sweet boy and he and Aiden get along really well. We are going to try to make it a weekly affair, which will be so fun for our boys. Plus, it is so good to spend some time with one of my besties!!!

The Party

The Saturday after Aiden's birthday we had a party with extended family. Elmo theme again (of course) and the birthday boy had such a good time. My favorite part of the day was watching him sit there so proudly while everyone sang to him...my boy does love attention! I still can't believe he is 2!

Sweet Baby Bella is 2 weeks old

Our sweet baby Bella is 2 weeks old today. She is already such a happy little baby and we are all enjoying getting to know her. She had her 2 weeks check today and she is back up to birth weight and has already grown 1/2 inch. Her doctor made several comments about how alert and strong she is...good job, little sweetie!!!

It doesn't seem possible that 2 years have passed since the first time I first looked in to those vibrant blue eyes of yours. I have loved every single day that you have been in my life and I am so excited to see what each new day brings for you. Every day I am amazed by your brilliant mind and your capacity to love. You have adapted to your new role as a big brother with such ease, and I am already so proud of the big brother you are to Bella. She is so lucky to have you. I know you will be an amazing brother, friend, teacher and partner in crime to her. You are such a happy little person and you make me smile hourly. I thank God every day that I am your Mommy! I can honestly tell you that it is the title that I am most proud of in this world. I love you with all my heart...Happy 2nd Birthday, sweet prince!
